Polaroid’s new Z340 digital instant camera

I collect toy cameras. I started years ago when Lomography was in its infancy and its grown since.

I have 35mm, 120mm and even obsolete 126mm cameras. My latest is my more than fun Fuji Instax which I picked up last year at the lovely Exposure Gallery in Woodstock.

So when this little guy arrived in my inbox courtesy of Photojojo I was besides myself, no really, like swooning, melodramatic fits of gushing love.

The new Polaroid Z340 is a 14 megapixel digital camera that uses Polaroid’s ZINK paper which is smudge, water and tear resistant and even more affordable than other instant cameras. An $18USD film pack prints 30 3″x4″ shots with CUSTOM borders.

What’s more is that you can SAVE the images and edit them on board or transfer them to your computer for post work, it even shoots video.

I’m in love.

man I would love to have one of these! I have an old Polaroid Land Camera and have not yet found film for it

    Hi Karen,

Awesome! Which Land Camera do you have? The Impossible Project bought the old Polaroid factory and are remaking the film, you can buy them at Exposure Gallery in Woodstock. Fernando is super helpful!

I was thinking of buying one of these but wonder how customizable are the borders? Could I completely change a design, for example by uploading my own images and have the freedom to place whatever I want wherever I want, or is it more standard templates which only allows me to change color/add text or clip art?
