Planting thoughts launches at together at tjing tjing market

Well it’s official! I’ll be launching Planting Thoughts at Together at Tjing Tjing Market this Tuesday, 29th May!

It’s been a mad rush to pull it all together and I’m still running around like a headless chicken as I add the finishing touches.

We’ll be having the first screening of a short film by Ian Henderson of Think Film called ‘Carrots don’t always grow straight’, a look into my life and decisions to become an Urban Farmer.

In celebration I’ll be giving out free seed packets to encourage you to grow your own, a mix of herbs and instructions for sowing them will appear on Planting Thoughts, set to launch the same day.

It’s been a collaborative effort between myself and the lovely Lauren Fowler who designed the epic tags.

To show just how easy it is and how they beautify your life fellow exhibitor Sarah Benjamin of Sessi Bee Ceramics has immortalized my bust in one of her bowls, complete with a living, breathing mini herb garden.

While it’s not Madame Tussauds, it’s infinitely more amazing.
