In your space (part 1)

Today I had the pleasure of hosting stylist Helena Sheridan and Photographer Mareli Esterhuizen as part of their ‘In Your Space’ project.

The duo travel to creative homes and essentially play house, styling and snapping vignettes and curious oddities, both abound here.

While they snapped away I was working the kitchen preparing us a 3-course meal.

We ate an heirloom tomato caprese salad, a bresola, rocket, grilled asparagus sandwich on sourdough with free range poached eggs from the garden and a Thai infused chicken salad, perfect for the scorching day we had… now if only I’d not forgotten the wine!

I can’t wait to see what they came up with, but while we wait take a look at these stunning pics they took of my lovely friend Thaya’s old house.

Oh Deer!

If your pins look anything like mine you’ll start to notice themes: a word, a title an image etc.

I tend to ‘pin now, savour later’ and find that even within these larger themes are sub themes, in today’s case, deer and antlers.

These pics represent ‘collections’ I enjoy, all of which have Bambi’s relatives in them.
